Five Great Family Travel Destinations

 In Travel

Atlanta Bounce Houses:  If you aren’t visiting relatives this holiday season and are looking to get out somewhere fun and international, here are my top places for places to visit:

5. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil:

Thinking of Brazil conjures up images of sun, sand and samba and Rio is at the heart of all the versatility and energy that this nation encompasses. The “Marvelous City”, as it is called, is the most visited metropolis in South America with all its natural and cultural offerings. Rio will be hosting the 2016 Olympics so better get your visit in now before it gets too expensive!

4. Dubai, UAE

Often known as the “Paris of the Middle East”, Dubai is known for its haute couture, glamorous nightclubs and fast cars. But there is so much more to this desert city than conspicuous consumption.

For an “exotic” land, Dubai is ridiculously close – only 5 hours from Europe and 3 hours or so from Asia. Naturally it’s a slightly longer trip from America. Emirates, the national airline of the UAE has a wonderful reputation and wide international network.

3. Punta Mita, Mexico

Punta de Mita (popularly called “Punta Mita”) is a little village ten miles north of Puerto Vallarta. It is known for its white sands, luxury accommodations and gourmet food. You can be sure that a trip to Punta Mita will leave you and the kids relaxed and rested.

Punta Mita strives to provide an upscale family experience. The service is impeccable, your every need from massages to kids clubs is available and everyone speaks English. It is a gated community and security is a priority which is why it has remained immune to the drop in tourism associated with recent drug-related trouble in Mexico.

2. Singapore, Singapore

You wonder how much they can cram onto an island and with Singapore, the answer seems to be, “a lot”. Every time I visit there is something new to see. The Republic of Singapore has a diverse population, one of the world’s busiest ports, and is seen as one of the most important commercial centers in Asia.

I personally believe Singapore is one of the most child-friendly cities in the world. In Singapore, we enjoy the luxury and convenience of endless malls, fabulous foods particularly from South East Asia and China (dim sum galore), and all the splendor of Sentosa with its multitude of kids activities.

1. Sydney, Australia

Sydney’s most famous site is the Opera Building and breathtaking as it is, it is just a drop in the ocean of Sydney’s splendor. We believe this beautiful water-locked cosmopolitan city in Australia is one of the world’s best kept secrets.

Sydney is a ridiculously kid-friendly city primarily due to the refreshingly relaxed and healthy outdoorsy lifestyle of the Aussies. Further, Sydney is not a transient city like many of the world’s metropolitan ones, so in a place where generations live a few blocks from each other, family life and kids are a central part of their existence (along with beaches and bbq.. aahh!).
